I’m sharing one of my recent favorite products that make for a quick fix dinner: Campbell’s Skillet Sauces.

I don’t cook from scratch every night. As a matter of fact, this past week I have only “cooked from scratch” one time and even that was an easy meal. Spending hours making dinner isn’t top on my list of things to do lately. Between family obligations, taking care of the house, running my business, traveling to an event in Los Angeles, and more…time is short.
A while back, I felt major guilt when I wasn’t creating elaborate meals. And while, yes, I still loves to make “from scratch” dinners, I’ve realized something else too: it’s perfectly okay to go the easy route. It’s ok to take shortcuts on my cooking. And I’m not any less of a wife or mom (or food bloggers) if I’m not making homemade pasta, all my sauces from scratch, or if I use a boxed cake mix.
And the funny thing is…my family doesn’t care either. They rave just as much about a dish I make that take 15 minutes, as they do with one that takes 4 hours. Go figure.
I know a lot of you need and want easy dinner solutions too. Today, I’m sharing one that I think you’ll enjoy. Lately I’ve bought quite a few of the new Campbell’s Skillet Sauces and Campbell’s Slow Cooker Sauces. I didn’t buy them when I first saw them at the store, but eventually I picked up some at Target on sale and I was impressed with how easy and delicious they are. This Marsala one? It has lots of flavor and plenty of mushrooms….so much so that my husband thought it was homemade.
Because I keep chicken breasts and other meats in my freezer all the time (I buy a bunch when they are on sale), I can easily pair them with Campbell’s Skillet Sauces easily.
As you can see in the photo below, it’s only 3 steps and 15 minutes to make one of these Campbell’s Skillet Sauces. It’s as simple as browning the meat (chicken, in the case of the Marsala one), pouring on the sauce and serving over pasta or rice. One thing I really like is that there is complex flavor profiles, like Thai Green Curry with Lemongrass and Basil.
If you ever struggle with getting dinner on the table, or just want something easy on your busiest days, I encourage you to pick up a few packages of Campbell’s Skillet Sauces to keep on hand. When I first bought them, I wasn’t sure how soon I would use them, but it wasn’t long before I realized what a smart purchase they were.
