Date nights are important to me. I work from home, so getting out the house with my husband is something I need. At one time in our life, we had a date night almost weekly. Um, yeah, that’s not happening these days. Even with my frugal attempts at date nights, they can still be expensive!
I know I’m not the only one in this position, so I thought I would share just one of the ways I’ve been saving for date night – I’ve been using Jingit which is a tech start up company that allows great brands to pay you real cash for your time. It’s extremely easy to sign up and use – here’s how it works:
Once you are all signed up and logged in, you can begin to watch videos and/or take quick surveys right from your computer, with each one earning you cash. Right now there is a quick survey about S’mores.
The questions are very simple and the survey takes hardly any time at all. One of my first questions was “Where do you enjoy S’mores the most?” There is no right or wrong answer and I chose “At home” since we are usually at home when we have S’mores.
After answering six quick questions, my Jingit balance instantly reflects my new earnings.
Later, I found another earning opportunity and it was to answer questions from one of my favorite brands, Elmer’s. These questions focused around back-to-school and just like the S’mores questions, they took less than a minute to answer.
If you have an Android, iPhone, or iPad, you can also download a free app to use while you are on the go. By checking in at stores or performing other simple tasks like scanning a barcode of a product, you can earn even more money with Jingit.
Here’s a peek at some of the earning opportunity I currently have with Jingit in my area. For example, I can earn .50 cents just for scanning the UPC code of Elmer’s School Glue or Elmer’s School Glue Stick when I check in at my local Walmart.
There you have it, that’s one of the ways I save for a date night. Right now I have about $7 earned with Jingit, which really took me no time at all to earn. I don’t know about you, but I’m happy to save $7 off of a movie ticket!
