Lots of Tomatoes & Onions at Gilcrease Orchard in Las Vegas

We are lucky to have a u-pick farm right here in Las Vegas! The Gilcrease Orchard is a u-pick farm located in the northwest area of the Vegas valley. We’ve only been to Gilcrease in the Fall, but we are definitely going to go soon to take advantage of their farm-fresh summer produce!

For all of my Las Vegas readers, I wanted to give you a heads up that Gilcrease Orchard is reporting that they have LOTS of tomatoes that are ready for picking.

There is also a lot of sweet onions ready. You don’t have to go out and pick these yourself — they have been harvested already and are available at checkout stand for $.50 lb.

  1. That’s so great that you have somewhere to pick your own produce! It’s so fun and those prices are cheap, too!

  2. Yum! I’ve heard of this and have been wanting to go… I love opportunities for my preschooler to learn where food “really” comes from (you know, before it gets to the grocery store)…

Glad to know that it has been already harvested. People can get tomatoes easily because they were not the one picking it and with a very cheap price as well.
