This year has been full of big changes for my family and I. Several big changes were a little scary, but they were those things that you just knew in your gut was the right thing to do. It feels good to take a leap of faith and know it’s worked out for the best.
One of the big changes I made in 2011 was blogging more. I officially started blogging in 2004. It was a simple blog, just full of daily family things. From there, I progressed and started working on several other blogs, but none of them felt “right”. That was until 2010, when I made the shift to Home Cooking Memories and everything started falling in place. It encompasses everything that I am. And so, 2011 was the year I started devoting even more time to cooking, baking, and blogging. It’s just what I needed and I couldn’t be happier.
I thought it would be fun to put together a list of my top blog posts of 2011, based upon web traffic. As a blogger, I always wonder if people are reading or liking what I have to say, so seeing the numbers — and comments — is quite satisfying to me. I enjoy hanging out with you all and have really enjoyed getting to know both my readers and the blogging community.
