Looking for frugal dinner ideas? Look no further – I have 24 cheap recipes for dinner that are not only delicious, but they will stretch your budget too.
Last year, on our 23rd wedding anniversary, I put together a list of 23 Cheap Recipes for Dinner. It was my way of celebrating our years together since so many of our dinners in the beginning had to be extremely frugal. But while we ate lots of cheap meals, and some were good, others were boring and definitely not very healthy. When I put together last year’s post, I wasn’t sure if anyone would be truly interested in it. Do people want — or need — cheap dinners to make? I figure some people did, because I know that I do…even today. Yeah, we don’t have to eat ramen everyday, but we can’t eat steak and lobster everyday either.
The answer to my question “do my readers want frugal dinner ideas?” was answered with an astounding YES! My previous post was one of my most popular posts for the last year. It felt good to know I was not alone in my quest for good, cheap eats, so I have decided to do it all over again.
To celebrate my 24th wedding anniversary, I have pulled together 24 more cheap dinner recipes — one for each year of our marriage. None of them are duplicated from the last post, so with my other post and this one, you will have 47 inexpensive meals. That’s over a month worth and sure to be a help to most budgets.
