- 8 Cups of Rice or Corn Chex Cereal
- 2 Cups of Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
- 1 Cup of Peanut Butter
- 4 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
- 2 Cups of Dry Brownie Mix
- 2 Cups of Powdered Sugar
- 1 Cup of Mini Peanut Butter Cups
- 1 Cup of Red Chocolate Candies
- 2 Cups of Pretzels (Any kind)
Instructions
Brownie Puppy Chow
- Add the 2 Cups of Brownie Mix to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30-second bursts, stirring each time until it reaches 165 F Degrees. This will kill any bacteria from the flour.
- Melt Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter, and Butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute. Stir and continue heating for 10-20 seconds until the chocolate is almost melted, stirring after each heating.
- Remove from the microwave and stir until completely smooth.
- Pour over cereal and toss to coat well.
- Pour the cereal mixture into a resealable bag and add the brownie mix.
- Close the bag and shake it to coat the cereal completely. Set aside.
Regular Puppy Chow
- Repeat the process listed above, but use the powdered sugar to coat the second batch.
Snack Mix
- Add both Puppy Chows and Pretzels to an extra-large bowl or large cooking sheet.
- Stir to combine.
- Top with both candies.
- Store in an airtight Container.
