Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 Cups of Rice or Corn Chex Cereal
  • 2 Cups of Semi-Sweet or Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 1 Cup of Peanut Butter
  • 4 Tablespoons of Unsalted Butter
  • 2 Cups of Dry Brownie Mix
  • 2 Cups of Powdered Sugar
  • 1 Cup of Mini Peanut Butter Cups
  • 1 Cup of Red Chocolate Candies
  • 2 Cups of Pretzels (Any kind)

Instructions

Brownie Puppy Chow

  1. Add the 2 Cups of Brownie Mix to a microwave-safe bowl. Heat for 30-second bursts, stirring each time until it reaches 165 F Degrees. This will kill any bacteria from the flour.
  2. Melt Chocolate Chips, Peanut Butter, and Butter in a medium microwave-safe bowl for 1 minute. Stir and continue heating for 10-20 seconds until the chocolate is almost melted, stirring after each heating.
  3.  Remove from the microwave and stir until completely smooth.
  4. Pour over cereal and toss to coat well.
  5. Pour the cereal mixture into a resealable bag and add the brownie mix.
  6. Close the bag and shake it to coat the cereal completely. Set aside.

Regular Puppy Chow

  1. Repeat the process listed above, but use the powdered sugar to coat the second batch.

Snack Mix

  1. Add both Puppy Chows and Pretzels to an extra-large bowl or large cooking sheet.
  2. Stir to combine.
  3. Top with both candies.
  4. Store in an airtight Container.
