It’s #FoodiePenPals Reveal Day! This month, I participated again — and I’m so glad I did! Marla was the foodie that sent me a package from her home in Milwaukee, WI.
When I learned that I would get a package from Wisconsin, I actually thought I had never been there. But I verified it with David and he reminded me that I had a stop-over there in January when I was on the way to Virginia after my Dad died. I seriously didn’t remember that, but yeah, now I remember. I grabbed breakfast at the Johnny Rockets, with my brother, who was traveling with me. My mind was seriously in a different place during trip.
Anyway…not sure if being in just the Milwaukee airport counts? Probably not. So, I haven’t really been to Wisconsin, so getting this package from Marla was a really fun. Many of the items she sent are made right in Wisconsin and all of the items were perfect for my family and I.
Marla sent:
Sprecher Root Beer: already drank it while working late one night…REALLY good root beer. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Sprecher Beer Chips: David was dying to open these and he loved them. Made in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Original Cow Pie: I shared this with David one night…super yummy! Made in Baraboo, Wisconsin.
Badger Popcorn: The kids were excited to have this! I tried the caramel corn and it was delicious! Make in Madison, Wisconsin.
Deano’s Jalapeno Chips: first time having these and whoa baby!
Mauna Loa Kona Coffee Glazed Macadamia Nuts: I didn’t know these existed! We love coffee and nuts, so these are the best of both worlds!
Thank you, Marla for the wonderful treats and sharing a bit of Wisconsin with me and my family!
