Love bacon? Love waffles? Easy Bacon Waffles combines the best of both worlds into a fun breakfast meal.
Ingredients
- Your favorite waffle batter (make it homemade from scratch or from a mix)
- Bacon (I suggest 1/2 – 1 strip of bacon per waffle you are making)
Instructions
- Cook the bacon according to the package instructions. Cool and allow excess bacon grease to absorb into a paper towel. Roughly chop the bacon into pieces.
- Heat your waffle maker according the manufacturer instructions. Sprinkle some bacon into each section on your hot waffle maker. Pour slightly less than the amount of waffle batter recommended by your waffle maker manufacturer on top of the bacon. Close your waffle maker and cook until golden brown (refer to waffle maker manufacturer instructions for more exact timing). Remove from waffle maker and serve immediately, as desired.
