Hot Las Vegas summers means cooling off almost any way you can. One of the tastiest ways to cool off it enjoying a homemade popsicles. Popsicles are really easy to make and the varieties and flavor combinations is endless.
For part of our 4th of July festivities, I made Blueberry Tea Popsicles for my family. Did you know that July is Blueberry Month? It is! So not only are these good for summer and the 4th of July, they are also great have for Blueberry Month.
To make the popsicles, I chose Bigelow Wild Blueberry with Acai Herb Tea (I bought it at Walmart for $2.18 a box).
You will need 6 tea bags to make your tea concentrate.
Boil your water in a small saucepan and turn off the heat. Add the tea bags to the boiling water and allow them to steep for 10 minutes.
After steeping, remove the tea bags and gently squeeze them to release any extra tea from the bags. Add your sugar and stir until dissolved. Then, add your frozen blueberries to the tea concentrate. All of this then goes into a blender or food processor and processed until the blueberries are incorporated with the tea.
The mixture is poured evenly into 6 popsicle molds and frozen according to your popcicle maker instructions.
And enjoy!

Yum! That sounds so good. We are overflowing with raspberries, and I bet subbing some for the blueberries would be a good mix.
Never though to do a tea popsicle before!
