- 4 pounds strawberries (washed, hulled, and sliced)
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup white balsamic vinegar
- Combine all ingredients in a large pot and heat over medium-high heat. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Simmer, stirring occasionally, while strawberries break down and mixture begins to thicken (about 15-20 minutes).
- Remove from heat when strawberry sauce reaches your desired thickness. Allow to cool and store in refrigerator.
