- 1 Cup Butter
- 1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
- 2 Eggs
- 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract
- 2 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar
- 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
- 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
- 2 Tablespoons Red or Green or Mix Sprinkles
Notes
- Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Prepare cooking sheet with cooking spray, silicone mat, or parchment paper.
- Cream Together Butter, Sugar, Eggs, Vanilla Extract, and, Peppermint Extract.
- Mix in Flour, Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, and Salt into the wet ingredients.
- In a separate mixing bowl, mix the Sprinkles or Sugar together. Set aside.
- Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll each ball into the sugar and sprinkle mixture.
- Place the cookie dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes until set but still soft. Remove immediately from baking sheet on to the wire rack.
- After the cookies are done cooling, place in an airtight container.
