Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Butter
  • 1 1/2 Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs
  • 1 Teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 Teaspoon Peppermint Extract
  • 2 Teaspoons Cream of Tartar
  • 1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 2 Tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Red or Green or Mix Sprinkles

Notes

  1. Preheat oven to 400 Degrees. Prepare cooking sheet with cooking spray, silicone mat, or parchment paper.
  2. Cream Together Butter, Sugar, Eggs, Vanilla Extract, and, Peppermint Extract.
  3. Mix in Flour, Cream of Tartar, Baking Soda, and Salt into the wet ingredients.
  4. In a separate mixing bowl, mix the Sprinkles or Sugar together. Set aside.
  5. Shape dough into 1 inch balls. Roll each ball into the sugar and sprinkle mixture.
  6. Place the cookie dough balls 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes until set but still soft. Remove immediately from baking sheet on to the wire rack.
  8. After the cookies are done cooling, place in an airtight container.
