- 1/4 Cup Salted Butter
- 1/2 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 20oz Pineapple Slices Can
- 10oz Maraschino Cherries Jar
- Yellow Cake Mix (1 Box)
- 3 Eggs
- 1/3 Cup Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F, then lightly grease a 9×13 baking dish on the sides.
- Add pineapple slices and cherries onto a paper-towel lined plate or surface.
- Pour butter into 9×13 cake pan, then sprinkle brown sugar evenly over butter.
- Arrange pineapples in a single layer on top of the butter mixture in the bottom of the pan, cut them if needed.
- Place a whole maraschino cherry into each pineapple ring or piece.
- Add cake mix, 1 cup pineapple juice, eggs, and oil to a large mixing bowl and beat on medium speed for 2-3 minutes or until well combined.
- Gently pour cake batter over pineapple slices.
- Bake for 43-44 minutes or until cake is baked through.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Cover cake pan with a baking sheet and flip cake onto pan, then serve.
