While I like the idea of printing the free St. Patrick’s Day printable on the white treat bags best, you can also print on sticker paper, regular printer paper, or on cardstock. Then, use your print out to stick onto a bag (or glue or tape if you don’t use sticker paper).
Another idea is to print out the smallest size I have provided and make a gift tag. You can fill a mason jar with gold wrapped candies and tie the tag around the neck of the jar.
When picking your candies for your St. Patrick’s Day gift, I recommend choosing gold wrapped candies to go with the saying on the printable. There is quite a few options available at most stores, like Hershey’s Nuggets, Rolo’s, Almond Hershey’s Kisses, and gold coins. If you have a grocery store that has bulk bins (like Winco), you might even finding various gold wrapped candies there. If the gold candies are among an assortment of other colors, just carefully pick out the gold wrapped ones.
If you prefer the convenience of shopping online, here’s some gold wrapped candies that would work great:
Easy St. Patrick’s Day Gift Idea with Free Printable
Here are the links to print your free St. Patrick’s printable. You’ll notice there is several size options, so pick the one that will work best for you.
If you are printing directly on a treat bag, make sure it is a flat paper treat bag (<—like the one I have linked to) and that you place the bag seam side down in your printer with the flat bottom edge placed so it will feed first into your printer. Here are the files that work best for printing directly on a paper treat bag (they are designed upside down because you will feed the bottom edge in FIRST):
For Bags: I Struck Gold (design approx 3.75″ x 4.75″)
For Bags: I Struck Gold (design approx 4.50″ x 5.50″)
If you won’t be printing on a bag, but would like to print on sticker paper, regular printer paper, or cardstock, here are a few sizes that can choose from (smallest to largest):
I Struck Gold – 4 per sheet (design approx 2.5″ x 3″)
I Struck Gold – 2 per sheet (design approx 3.75″ x 4.50″)
I Struck Gold – 4 per sheet (design approx 4.5″ x 5.5″)
