Last month, I was invited to a special sneak peek of The Container Store opening in Las Vegas before it opened to the public. It was a fun event that had me thinking about all the different problem areas in my home and how The Container Store can help me. I’m excited to share photos of all the amazingness that The Container Store has to offer!
My most favorite areas of The Container Store was their products for food and the kitchen. Along the front and the sides of the store, there is large glass windows that look out onto Town Square Las Vegas and most (all?) of these windows featured lots of beautiful items, such colorful glass bottles and jars. I loved this look and how it brought the bright Las Vegas sun shining into the store.
I was very impressed that not only did The Container Store seem to have every possible thing for organizing in your home, but that there was a variety of options too. For example, if you are wanting a drawer sorter or utensil holder, there wasn’t just plastic ones available, but also ones made of wood and metal.
These cookbook stands are another example of that — there was several different styles, looks, and materials. Something for everybody!
I have a major thing for clear glass jars. I have lots of jars like this in my kitchen (in all sizes), which hold grains, beans, and more. I like to buy items in the bulk section of grocery stores so these jars come in very handy for keeping it all fresh and easily accessible.
While we took our tour, we learned all kinds of cool facts about The Container Store and the products they sell. Did you know they carry about 10,000 products? This store was seriously packed with loads of organizing products!
I love the design on these PeopleTowels hand towels! The Container Store is full of eco-friendly alternatives.
This was another product that caught my eye: Casabella Cutting Boards. They are flexible, color-coded and designed to avoid cross-contamination of foods.
Everything you need for gift wrapping — lots of wrapping paper, bows, gift tags, ribbons, and boxes of various sizes and shapes.
Look at these metal storage containers! My mind started swirling with all the dry mixes, cookies, and candies I could fill in these.
And more containers! There was boxes that had dividers that you could fill with a varieties of items, plus boxes in just about every color.
Food and kitchen items at The Container Store were my favorites, but my second favorite is the “Collection” area. It has everything you’ll need for photo and scrapbooking storage, as well as space-saving ways of storing your CD or DVD collection.
See how wonderful it is? I’ve already been back once since they opened and I plan to keep visiting regularly! I’m really glad that Las Vegas was one of the 6 stores that The Containers Store is opening in 2012.

Disclosure: As this blog post states, I was invited to a VIP sneak peek of the store. I was also given an assortment of products from their store as a thank you for attending. All opinions and thoughts in this post are, as always, 100% my own….and I would have wrote this same post even if I had not been invited.

The Container Store! I think its the best. Las Vegas use to have a store similar to this out on Stephanie Rd, but it closed. Now I can get my OCD fix right here again! 😉

I love that place! There’s one about 15 minutes from me but I don’t go very often because it’s the heart of the impulse buy. “Only $6 each? I’ll take 10!”

Seriously, who DOESN’T love the container store? And that’s exactly why I avoid it…ha! You’ve just reminded me it’s been way too long since I last visited one.

I used to shop at The Container Store all the time when I lived in Orange County but now there aren’t any near us. I still have some great magnets and storage bins that I use all the time that I bought there a looooong time ago. I recall that they were pricey (although I had no $$ back then so that may have been why) but obviously what they sell is good quality, having lasted all these years!
