I’ve decided something. When I’m having a party or get-together for any holiday, I deserve bonus points, plus a pat on the back, AND verbal praise for having a drink that matches with the theme. Why is that? Because I don’t usually do it. I put so much effort into the food, I tend get boring with our drinks. Sure, I pull it off here and there, but if you come over for a party, don’t be surprised if I tell you their soda and bottle waters in the fridge in the garage.
It’s awesome when a drink matches your party, but it doesn’t do you much good if your drink isn’t delicious. Well, I’ve got good news for you. If you are looking for a red drink — whether for a Valentine’s Day or for Christmas parties — I have a cocktail recipe for you. Not only is this cocktail beautiful with the red color, but it tastes amazing! And having those pomegranate seeds in the drink? It’s the best thing ever.
Ingredients Needed for The Red Pom Cocktail :
- Rum (2oz)
- Ruby Red Grapefruit Juice (3oz)
- Agave Nectar (1/2 oz)
- Pomegranate Seeds (1 Tablespoon)
- Crushed Ice
- Fresh Safe Leaf (Optional)
In addition to needing a fresh pomegranate for this recipe, you’ll need a few other things too: ruby red grapefruit juice, rum, crushed ice, and agave nectar to sweeten things up a bit more.
