One of the ways I like to get creative in the kitchen is coming up with new cocktails. When I’m wanting to try something new, I’ll head to the store with my trusty sidekick, David. Then, I proceed to stand in the liquor aisle, eyes wide open, while I make my choices.
But, it’s a hard choice. Have you seen all the flavors of vodka on the grocery store shelves? Ever since trying Pinnacle® Whipped Vodka (which I’m a big fan of), I’ve been eager to try some of their other flavors. I scan my eyes over all the fruit and treat varieties: Coconut, Citrus, Tropical Punch, Country Fair Cotton, Marshmallow…that’s only a few of them! There are over 40 different flavors.
The good news is that they are affordable. I can pick one, I can pick two. Maybe another. I’ll bounce new drink ideas off of David, right there in the aisle. Back at home, he’s always happy to sample my latest crafted cocktails.
We don’t always need a reason to celebrate with my creations, but I can usually find one. Sometimes we have guests, and sometimes it’s just the two of us. My only rule is that the cocktail I make must be easy. I want a short ingredient list without complex steps. I want quick and simple. Within minutes, I want to mix it up and head out to the patio to relax with a glass in my hand.
For my newest cocktail creation, I present a custom Pinnacle® recipe to try this week: Pineapple Vodka Limeade. It’s extremely easy, absolutely refreshing, and just right for summer. It’s made with Pinnacle Pineapple Vodka, which gives a deliciously juicy punch of flavor.
Ingredients Needed for Pineapple Vodka Limeade:
- Pineapple Vodka (1 Part)
- Limeade (2 Parts)
- Fresh Pineapple (3-4 Chunks)
- Mint Leaves (2)
- Optional: Lime Slices
Cooking Equipment Needed for Pineapple Vodka Limeade:
The base of this cocktail is limeade, which I will gladly share is not homemade. It’s a frozen concentrate. If you prefer, you can make one homemade (and invite me over), but again…I want things quick and easy.
In a shaker, I muddled a few mint leaves with some fresh pineapple chunks. Limeade, Pinnacle® Pineapple Vodka, and some ice is shaken with the mint and pineapple. Then, it’s all poured into a glass.
To bump up the beauty of this cocktail, add a few slices of lime and some extra mint leaves. It really adds a nice touch and if we’re having guests, they are extra impressed. But, even if it’s just David and I sitting on the patio, I still want my drinks to look fancy.
And just like that, you’re done — easy AND refreshing. Enjoy your glass of Pineapple Vodka Limeade and relax. Summer doesn’t last all year, so make it good while it does.

Ooh, sounds delicious! I like to create cocktails, too, and I’m also married to a David who is happy to help out.
I followed you here from Miz Helen’s linkup. I don’t think I would pair it with pineapple vodka limeade but you still might want to check out my recipe contribution – squash casserole.
Have a beautiful day!
