Craft Tutorial: Candy Corn Halloween Garland
This craft tutorial will show you how to make a fun Halloween garland with M&M's Candy Corn candies.
Oh, how I LOVE this time of the year! Starting with Halloween, ending with New Years...I love it all. I get so excited when the stores start putting all their Halloween products on the shelves. One new product this year has been M&M’s Candy Corn White Chocolate. As soon as I heard about them, I knew I would have to get my hands on a few bags for recipes and crafting.
One thing I
Creative & Easy Food Gift Ideas
If you enjoy cooking, then you probably enjoy giving food gifts to friend and family. Christmas time is the main time I give food gifts. I bake ever year and have piles of goodies to give away to family and friends who live nearby. This wasn't a tradition that my family had, but rather something I learned from my grandmother-in-law and my mother-in-law.

Ice Cream Sundae Party (with Tequila Caramel Sauce & Chocolate Bowls)
This summer has been very low-key for us. We will be taking a family trip to Comic-Con in a couple weeks so we've been saving our dollars and hanging out at home...A LOT. Our family fun has this summer has been having a BBQ and watching the latest movie that we pick up at the Redbox. Not real exciting stuff, but it suits us fine.
That was until we did the unexpected: we hosted an ice cream sundae party.
Thrift Store Find: Recipe Plaque (Daily Photo)
This evening, we took a trip over to my favorite thrift store. We went looking for gardening tools (shovel, Hula hoe, etc) and rugs. They didn't have what we were hoping to find, but no worries, I didn't leave empty handed. I found this weird plaque. It's wood on the base and someone got crafty with it by doing some distressing to the edges. The top of it is thick metal with the words "recipes" cut out of it near the bottom of the metal. This piece is screwed into the wood base.

Autumn Apple Dinner Party
On Friday, I was absolutely thrilled to find out I was one of 200 contestants who made it to Round 3 of Project Food Blog.
WOW.
My husband says he knew that I would make it (he's awesome like that). I wasn't so sure. I know that I probably shouldn't say that. I should be super positive and be my own biggest cheerleader, but honestly, I was expecting to get a "thanks, but no thanks" letter.
I made it though. Oh. my. gosh. WOOHOO!!

If you love enchiladas like our family does, then you must try making homemade enchilada sauce.
Until recently, I used only canned enchilada sauce. In California, I had several to choose from, but I would usually go with the least expensive one. I do remember finding the El Torito brand of enchilada sauce at
