Whether you need an Easter treat to bring to a party or gathering or you just want something fun to make during around Easter time, here’s an idea for you: Brownie Easter Bunnies!
While you could use boxed brownie mix, these bunny faces are made out of a homemade brownie recipe, which I’ve included below.
You’ll only need a few other items. One of the most important things you’ll need is this bunny head cookie cutter. I recommend this one because not only is it cute, it’s sturdy.
For decorating the face, you’ll also need:
- Wilton Pink Sparkle Gel Icing
- Candy Eyes
- M&M’S Chocolate Candies (Easter M&M’s in pastel colors)
To make this easy Easter treat, you’ll mix up the brownie ingredients and bake your brownies. After the brownies have cooled and removed from the pan, use your bunny head cookie cutter to cut out your bunnies. You should be able to get about 8 bunny heads with the recipe in this post and this specific bunny head cookie cutter.
Use your sparkle gel icing to create the bunny 2 pink ears.
Dab a bit of the sparkle gel icing onto the back of each eye. Place the eyes on the bunny face, gel icing side down. Repeat the same step with one pink M&M for the nose. The gel icing will act as an edible “glue” for the eyes and nose.
Repeat the steps for the ears, eyes, and nose for all of your bunny faces.
