Whenever it is cold outside, soup is my favorite thing to make for my family and I. Especially when I can make it in my slow cooker! I love throwing all of the ingredients together and letting it do all of the work for me. The most you will have to do is some chopping and the slow cooker will do the rest.
This Soup is filled with delicious ingredients like Ham, White Beans, Onion, Carrots, Celery, Spinach, and seasonings. It was a full flavor and has a creamy broth.

Ingredients Needed for Slow Cooker Ham and White Bean Soup:
- Ham (3 Cups – Chopped)
- Minced Garlic (3 Cloves)
- Onion (1)
- Carrots (3)
- Celery (2 Stalks)
- Fresh Baby Spinach (3 Cups)
- Dried Oregano (1/2 Teaspoon)
- Bay Leaves (2)
- Great Northern Beans (2 – 15oz)
- Chicken Broth (4 Cups)
- Water (1 Cup)
- Heavy Cream (1 Cup)
- Salt & Pepper (To taste)

- 6 QT Slow Cooker
- Cutting Board
- Kitchen Knife
- Measuring Spoons
- Measuring Cups
- Colander
- Mixing Spoon
- Ladle

How to make Slow Cooker Ham and White Bean Soup:
1. Dice the Onion and Celery. Peel and slice the Carrots. Place all of the vegetables into the 6-QT Slow Cooker.
2. Add the Ham into the slow cooker. If it is not chopped, make sure to do that before adding it into the pot.
3. Using a colander, drain and rinse of the 3 cans of Great Northern Beans. Add the beans in.
4. Put the Bay Leaves and the Dried Oregano with the other ingredients.
5. Before turning on the slow cooker, stir in the Chicken Broth, Water, and Salt and Pepper to taste. Cover and cook on low heat for 7-8 hours or high heat for 3-4 hours.
6. When the soup is done, uncover and stir in Spinach until wilted. Stir in the Heavy Cream.
7. Serve with your choice of bread or your favorite crackers.

- 2 (15-ounce) cans Great Northern beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 2 bay leaves
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup water
- salt and pepper, to taste
- 3 cups fresh baby spinach
- 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
- Dice the Onion and Celery. Peel and slice the Carrots. Place all of the vegetables into the 6-QT Slow Cooker.
