Little Smokies (Cocktail Sausages) are one of our favorite things to make when my family and I are heading to a potluck or a BBQ party. There are so many different ways to use them! This is one of my favorite ways to make them because it is easy to make!
Smoked BBQ Smokies will be a fan favorite at your next party! They have a great smoky flavor. Another great thing about them is the homemade Barbecue Sauce we will show you how to make! You can skip making the sauce if you want to and use a store-bought one but we highly recommend making ours below!
These would also be great to serve at Game Day or even holiday parties like the Fourth Of July or New Year’s Eve.

How to make Smoked BBQ Smokies:
1. Preheat the Smoker to 250 F
2. In a medium bowl, whisk together all of the ingredients for the barbecue sauce.
3. Add smokies to a Cast Iron Skillet or Large Aluminum Pan.
4. Pour 1-2 cups of the barbecue sauce over the Little Smokies. We did the 2 cups because we like our smokies more saucy.
5. Place Skillet or Pan on the smoker and cook for 2-4 hours, depending on the amount of additional smoke flavor you like. Stir occasionally during cooking to make sure the little smokies are covered in the barbecue sauce.
6. Remove from the Smoker and allow to cool slightly.
