I realized how easy it was to make homemade dips and they tasted so much better than the premade stuff! Another bonus to making it at home is that there is a chance you won’t need to buy any or very little because the ingredients might be in your kitchen already.
This delicious dip incudes Bacon, Cream Cheese, Sour Cream, Ranch Dressing Mix, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, and Green Onions. Adding all of these ingredients together makes one of the best dips ever for potato chips, crackers or your favorite veggies!

Ingredients Needed for Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip:
- Bacon (8 Slices)
- Cream Cheese or Neufchatel Cheese – (8oz)
- Sour Cream (1 1/4 Cups)
- Ranch Dressing Mix (1 – 1oz Package)
- Sharp Cheddar Cheese (1 Cup – Shredded)
- Green Onions (1/3 Cup – Chopped)
- Optional to serve with: Crackers, Fresh Vegetables – Green Peppers, Jalapeños, Celery, Carrots. Chips
Cooking Equipment Needed for Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip:
- Hand Mixer or Stand Mixer
- Mixing Bowls
- Rubber Spatula
- Cutting Board

How to make Cheesy Bacon Ranch Dip:
1. In a Medium Mixing Bowl, whip the Cream Cheese or Neufchatel Cheese with a whisk until smooth.
2. Add Sour Cream and Ranch Dressing Mix, whisk again until smooth again.
3. Add Cheddar Cheese, Green Onions, and Crumbled Bacon, and fold until evenly distributed.
4. Serve with your favorite Veggies, Crackers or Chips.
5. If you are not serving right away, store in an airtight container.

1 1/4 cups sour cream
