If you are wanting to make Turkey for Thanksgiving dinner or maybe just a normal Sunday night but you don’t have to time to make a whole turkey, we have the best recipe for you! We will show how to make a delicious turkey breast using an Instant Pot.
This recipe will feed four to six people and will take less than an hour to prepare and cook the dish. If you are looking for a quick side dishes, Instant Mashed Potatoes and Stuffing. What can you cook in an Instant Pot?
You can cook all sorts of things in an Instant Pot. The list is huge including things like Rice, oatmeal, all kinds of soups, and a whole chicken! Even things that you wouldn’t think like hard-boiled eggs and apple cider! One of our favorite things to make in the Instant Pot is this delicious Mexican Pot Roast!
Ingredients you will need for the Instant Pot Turkey Breast:
- Turkey Breast (6 or 7 pounds)
- Olive Oil (3 Tablespoons)
- Garlic Powder (1 Teaspoon)
- Black Pepper (1 Teaspoon)
- Thyme Leaves (1 Teaspoon)
- Ground Sage (1 Teaspoon)
- Celery Salt (1 Teaspoon)
- Dried Parsley (1 Tablespoon)
- Water (1 1/2 Cups)
- Onion, Apple, Celery, and/or Garlic Cloves (to stuff the cavity)
Cooking Equipment Needed for Instant Pot Turkey Breast:
- Instant Pot
- Measuring Cups
- Measuring Spoons
- Cutting Board
- Kitchen Knife / Craving Knife
- Instant Read Thermometer
- Baking Sheet or Casserole Dish (Optional)
How to make Instant Pot Turkey Breast:
1. Test to see if your turkey breast fits into your Instant Pot with the trivet
2. Place the trivet into the Instant Pot and add 1 1/2 cups of water.
3. In a bowl mix all of the seasonings together then stuff your turkey with an apple and vegetables. Coat the turkey with olive oil then rub the seasoning onto the turkey.
4. Next, you will place the turkey on the trivet inside of the Instant Pot.
5. Close the Instant Pot and set the value to sealing. Set it to manual or pressure cook on high for 30 minutes. When the cycle is complete, let the Instant Pot naturally release for 10 minutes before setting the valve to quick release.
6. Check the internal temperature of the turkey breast using an instant-read thermometer. The target temperature is 165 degrees.
7. If you wanting a crispy skin on the Turkey Beast, preheat your oven broiler. Place the turkey breast on a baking sheet or casserole dish. Put under the broiler until crisp, 5 to 10 minutes depending on the distance of the turkey breast from the broiler. Do not overcook. Allow turkey breast to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.

Ingredients
1 (6 to 7 pound) turkey breast
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon thyme leaves
1 teaspoon ground sage

1 ½ cup water
Onion, apple, celery, and/or garlic cloves to stuff the cavity
Instructions
1. Test to make sure your turkey breast will fit into your electric pressure cooker with the trivet.
2. Place trivet into pressure cooker. Add water.
3. Mix together seasonings. Stuff turkey with apples and vegetables before coating with olive oil and rubbing with seasoning blend. Place on trivet in the pressure cooker.
4. Close the pressure cooker and set the value to sealing. Set the pressure cooker to manual or pressure cook on high for 30 minutes. When the cycle is complete, let the pressure cooker naturally release for 10 minutes before setting the valve to quick release. Check the internal temperature of the turkey breast using an instant read thermometer. The target temperature is 165 degrees.
5. Carefully lift the turkey breast from the pressure cooker using the trivet.
6. If you desire a crispy skin, heat the oven broiler. Place the turkey breast on a baking sheet or casserole dish. Put under the broiler until crisp, 5 to 10 minutes depending on the distance of the turkey breast from the broiler. Do not overcook. Allow turkey breast to rest for 5 to 10 minutes before slicing.
