When fall comes around each year, it’s easy for me to ditch summer. I dive into all the flavors that autumn has to offer, with pumpkin being one of my favorites.
Pumpkin in desserts and sweet treats is always my favorite, but savory recipes, like Roasted Pumpkin, are so good too. So far, I don’t think that there has been a pumpkin recipe that I don’t like. But pumpkin pie, pumpkin cake rolls, pumpkin cheesecake, pumpkin coffee drinks, and, gosh, so much more — those are the way to my heart! Another solid favorite is the recipe I’m sharing with you today.
How to Make Pumpkin Pie Dip
I’m excited to be sharing this Easy Pumpkin Pie Dip with you all. This is an easy dessert dip perfect for fall or Halloween parties or casual get-togethers during the autumn months. We’ve also served it on Halloween night as part of a fall dessert board.
Of course, the part I really love is that it’s incredibly easy to make. There are only 4 ingredients to making this dessert dip: heavy cream, pudding mix, pumpkin puree, and pumpkin pie spice. Those ingredients are mixed together and chilled for two hours and then it’s ready to serve.

What To Dip in Pumpkin Dip?
This Pumpkin Dessert Dip is delicious for dipping apple slices or cookies.
For cookies, I recommend gingersnaps, vanilla wafers, or graham crackers.
For apples, I think tart granny smith apple slices are the best for this dip, but you could really use any apple you prefer. To keep your apple slices from browning, make dissolve 1/2 teaspoon of salt into 1 cup of water. Add the apple slices and let them soak for about 3 minutes. Scoop out the slices (or drain the water) and rinse in cold water.
Ingredients Needed for Pumpkin Pie Dip:
- Heavy Cream (2 Cups)
- Vanilla Pudding Mix (1 – 3.4oz)
- Pumpkin Puree (1/2 Cup)
- Pumpkin Pie Spice (2 Teaspoons)
- Optional treats for the dip: Ginger Snaps Cookies, Graham Crackers, and Apple Slices.
Kitchen Equipment Needed for Pumpkin Pie Dip:
There is no doubt this dessert dip will be a favorite at your fall party!
