Recently I visited the Chocolate & Spice Bakery in Las Vegas, Nevada -- an amazing bakery on the west side of town, created by one of Las Vegas' top pastry chefs, Megan Romano. You can read my post over at Sugar Loco:

Making Memories
Celebrating with ‘Chopped’ Winner, Christina Olivarez
There is so many fun events around Las Vegas, and this is no exception. Recently, I was invited to a special viewing party at Diego Mexican Cuisine in the MGM Grand. The reason for this viewing party was for us to watch the television debut of Diego's Executive Chef, Christina Olivarez, on Chopped on Food Network. How cool is that? I'm a major fangirl for Food Network and Chopped is one of the shows I watch regularly.
Food Memories: Pineapple Juice
As parents, I think we have our own expectations on the things we want our children to remember as they grow older.
I know when we took our two oldest children to Disneyland, we took them at ages 10 and 8 because we wanted them to remember everything from the trip. Every Christmas, I've always tried to make it a holiday they won't forget. And birthday are always about memorable cakes, presents, and outings.

We lived in Bristol for several years, and it's our absolute favorite, but since we live in Las Vegas now, we're also always sure to watch the Vegas race.

Road Trips, Hot Dogs, Onion Crunch, and Banana Peppers
When our family goes on a road trip and we stop for gas, we often let the kids grab something else to snack on or drink. It's been our long standing tradition and to them, it's always the biggest treat. If you ask Mattie what one of the things he loves most about road trips, he'll say stopping at gas stations and mini marts. No joke.
Recently, we took another road trip and we stopped before leaving at a new-to-us mini mart/gas station. The reason why we chose this particular gas station was
Ways to Preserve Thanksgiving Memories
In 2010, I was just starting to get more serious about food blogging and I had all these grand ideas of making a perfect turkey and side dishes and photographing it all to share. But as the day progressed, reality set in. I was so exhausted from the festivities and all the cooking that I got to a point that I didn't care if my photos were stunning.
